Notes of March 4, 2008

Sandi and I returned from Long Beach, late last night. Yesterday was a day of fun and business. Sandi was able to do some shopping prior to her appointment, but once 2:00 p.m. came around, it was rather hectic - from the doctor to the hospital - tests and paperwork, blah . . . blah . . . blah . . .
One interesting point - the wind was blowing hard when we left Lone Pine. You could see the dust rising from Owens Lake and billowing high into the atmosphere. We traveled to Long Beach and spent the night there. Upon rising our car was covered with fine dust. I wonder if that could be the dust from Owens Lake or the valley in general.
I played golf today. I kept thinking I just couldn’t get things done, but once I finished I discovered that I shot an 86 (42 front and 44 back). What I did right was putting - not a single 3-putt and 28 putts total.
