March 8th, 2008 by Bogey Lagger
I played golf on Saturday, teeing off at 8:15 a.m. It was a beautiful morning. In fact I could have teed off much earlier.
I ran into Bill Fogarty out there. He caught up with me on the eighth hole. We finished the front 9 together. He’s 88 years old and still quite spry. It seems as if golf is good for your health in the later years. I also saw Al Aigner out there. He is 94. You be the judge.
I’m working to get my game back. Consistency is difficult. I shot 88.
After golfing I went to Ridgecrest to watch Gregory, Nicholas and Brad play baseball (practice games in their pre-season). Gregory plays a double header on Sunday. Sunday’s games will be Advanced Baseball League (ABL) which is basically like a club sport. ABL picks the best players from the league, and they play most of the year, playing teams from other cities.
While watching the games, Edward played at my feet. ![]()
Sandi is in Redding for an education conference. She will be back on Sunday night.
Par putt? Bogey lag it.
