Banana Nut Bread

6 Cups flour
3 teaspoons baking soda
1½ teaspoons salt

Sift dry ingredients.

1½ Cups sugar
2 eggs
1 cup buttermilk
6 Tablespoons (3 oz.) oil
2 Cups (4-6) mashed bananas

Mix sugar, egg, milk, oil, nuts and bananas.

 

Add dry ingredients and beat hard about 30 seconds. Bake at 350° 45-50 minutes. Bread is done when a broom or weed straw pulls out clean. Recipe makes 3 small pans and 1 glass pan.
